Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and AI TIP for the use of aitip.ai. By using the site or creating an account you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the service.
What AI TIP is
AI TIP is a research and education service. It publishes scored profiles of AI tools, comparisons, an intelligence feed, an advisor that suggests tools for a described goal, and AI TIP University, a structured curriculum with lessons, quizzes, assignments and certificates.
What AI TIP is not — read this part
Our TIP Scores and recommendations are editorial opinion, formed by applying a published methodology to evidence available to us at the time. They are not professional advice, not a guarantee of any tool's performance, and not a substitute for your own evaluation.
- Nothing here is legal, financial, medical, tax or employment advice. Do not act on it as if it were.
- Prices, features, security posture and availability of third-party tools change constantly. Confirm anything that matters with the vendor before you commit money to it.
- The AI Tutor and the advisor are generated by a language model. They can be confidently wrong. Verify anything you intend to rely on.
- We are independent of the tools we cover. Vendors cannot pay to change a score, and no score on this site has been paid for.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account.
- Give accurate details and keep your password to yourself.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else is using it.
- One account is for one person. Paid access is personal and not to be shared; team access is what the Teams plan is for.
- You can close your account whenever you like.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- scrape, bulk-download or systematically copy the catalog, scores or curriculum, or use them to train a model or build a competing dataset;
- republish or resell our content as your own;
- share paid course material with people who have not paid for it;
- attempt to bypass access controls, rate limits or payment, or probe the service for vulnerabilities without our written permission;
- use the AI Tutor to generate unlawful, abusive or harmful content;
- upload anyone else's personal or confidential information.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where it is reasonable to do so we will warn you first.
Who owns what
The curriculum, the TIP Score methodology, the scores, the written analysis, the site design and the code are ours. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own learning and evaluation — including at work — but not to redistribute or resell them.
Embedded videos belong to their creators and are shown through YouTube on YouTube's terms; we claim no ownership of them. Tool names, logos and trade marks belong to their owners and appear here for identification.
What you write — assignment answers, notes, feedback — stays yours. You grant us only the licence needed to store it, show it back to you and sync it across your devices.
Certificates
A certificate records that you completed the lessons in a level on this platform. It is issued by AI TIP and is not an accredited academic or professional qualification, and does not certify competence to any external standard. We may withdraw one obtained by circumventing the assessments.
Paid plans and billing
- Free features are free. Where a plan is paid, the price and billing period are shown before you pay.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancel any time; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card number.
- Prices may change. We will give at least 30 days' notice before a change affects a renewal, and you can cancel instead.
- Taxes are added where required. You are responsible for any taxes not collected at checkout.
- Refunds are covered in the Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Availability
We work to keep the service up but do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid feature you have bought, we will refund the unused portion.
Liability
The service is provided as-is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or decisions you make based on our scores, recommendations or AI-generated output.
Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or ₹5,000.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you are a consumer, you keep the statutory rights your local law gives you and nothing in these terms overrides them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence, or of the right to bring proceedings there.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the last revision, and we will notify account holders by email of material changes. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
