Straight answers
Is the platform really free?
Yes, and it stays that way. The catalog, the scores, the advisor, the comparisons and the feed are the whole point of the site; putting them behind a wall would defeat it. Scores are editorial, so no vendor can pay to move one.
What does “founding rate” mean?
Pro billing isn't switched on yet. Join the founding list and you keep the $9 a month rate for as long as you stay subscribed, whatever the public price does later. You also get Pro features the day they ship.
How does Teams licensing work?
Annual per-seat pricing, from a team of ten up to a few thousand. You get an admin view of who has enrolled and how far they have got, bulk invites, and a kickoff session built around the tools your team already uses. We usually reply within a working day.
Do you take money from the tools you score?
No. The formula is published and the evidence sits on every tool page. We make money from subscriptions and team licences, not from vendors.
